Chilam Cheung Returns to Music Industry; Aims for HK Coliseum

Chilam Cheung signed with Neway Star today to become a singer, but he modestly denied that he has become the Big Brother of the company. He revealed that he has currently started to record his songs, and will also sing a duet with Myolie Wu. He hopes that he'll be able to hold a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum next year!


It was a rare chance for Chilam and Myolie to attend the same event; naturally they'd take a photo together for memory's sake.


After being away from the music industry for so long, Chilam returns strongly.

[12 June 2009] Myolie claried that she did not chase Bosco and his dog away

Myolie who has been promoting her new song "Love Delusion", was recently rumoured by the media that she has broke up with Bosco Wong. It was because she suspected that Bosco has a new love, and felt that Bosco's financial income isn't as high as hers. As a result, she chased him out of the house when she could not tolerate anymore. Today, Myolie accepted 881 Interview, and responded to the news mentioned above.

Recently,the papers have been reporting that Myolie has initiated to break up with Bosco, and even threw him and his dog out of the house. With regards to this report, Myolie clarified that it is a fiction story. Myolie, who is one with a lot of compassion, has 9 cats at home and is a animal lover. She will definitely not chase the dog out of the house. In addition, bosco's dog isn't staying at her house, so the report is 0% true. When Cha Xiao Xin asked if Bosco and her are hurt by the reports, Myolie said: "Won't be hurt, too many stories already, only can treat it as an album promotion."

9th and 10th of June, TVB Holiday Special Filming took place at Guang Dong. The artistes present at the event was Myolie Wu, Alex Fong, Timmy Hung and others. This attracted the attention of many tourists.

Alex Fong is having many rumours now whereas Myolie was rumoured to have broken up with Bosco. Both of them naturally became the media's interview target.

A few days back, Myolie was laughing and chatting happily at another event and having steam boat with Timmy Hung and the others. They even took the flowers and placed it at their ears to see who is prettier. [11 June 2009] Miss Hong Kong 2009 Press conference

During the Press Conference today, the organizers invited two seniors, Myolie Wu and Skye Chan to attend and give support to the contestants, sharing about how they felt when they participated in Miss Hong Kong.


Both seniors, Myolie Wu and　Skye Chan attended and encouraged the 10 participants.

Myolie advised the participants that when they step on stage, they have to appear very confident and believed that they are the prettiest one. During photo taking, have to lower their head a little, or else they will end up like her, causing a joke, thinking that she had to confidently looked up, which resulted that she looked like she just put on 10 kilograms.

Myolie and Skye had seen the performance of the 10 participants, and even demonstrated the cat walk. Looking at Myolie's confidence and Skye's real self, it was the best demonstration for the participants.

Yesterday, Myolie was filming her new MV with a mixed blood male model, Hale. In the midst of filming, the male model added in his own parts and was touchy towards Myolie, holding her waist and touching her shoulders, asked if she got a shock? Myolie said awkwardly: "maybe foreigners are more warm!"

Myolie went to Macau Golden sand Hotel to film her new song "Love Delusion" MV yesterday and the male lead in her MV is a 6 feet tall Japanese man, Hale. Director requested that both of them walked past each other, back to back.

Felt that something is not right

But, when they were filming, Hale suddenly added in his own parts, and became very warm. First, lightly touching her shoulder, and hold her waist. Feeling that something is not right, seeing the circumstances, Myolie pushed away the male model. After filming,she quickly walked away awkwardly.

After the incident, Myolie expressed that she didn't know that he suddenly added in some parts, asked if she felt awkward? Entering the second year in the music industry, she no longer has the "newcomer" shield to protect her or the people's extra tolerance anymore. Myolie's future path in the singing career will be become more difficult, but with her dreams in mind, she hopes to take a step at a time and eventually perform in the Hong Kong Coliseum which is every singers' dreams!

Myolie is currently preparing her second solo album, and her company has promised that they will have a surprise special arrangement for her which made her look forward to it. In addition, she won silver in the 2008 Hong Kong Music awards for female singers, hence she is more confident of her new album.

Attracted young fans

Starting to move away from the "Newcomer" label, Myolie is in a dilemma, "doesn't have this "newcomer" label shield, people will not be relaxed with me anymore. There will always be criticism that disregarded my feelings, but on the other side, i have been in the industry for many years, so calling me a newcomer is quite weird too. A perfect and beautiful first relationship is every girl's best memory; however if the first relationship isn't sweet,and the first kiss isn't romantic, it is quite bad!

Myolie's new song "Love Delusion" expressed: "If you over emphasis on the handsome looks, i am afraid that you will mess things up", "happy or not, only you understand your own emotions". It reminds young girls to be careful in their choice. She doesn't want people to follow her mistakes.

"First love is important to every girl, so it is a must to choose the right person and choose the right location for the first kiss! Cannot just look at the guy's outer appearance, must emphasize on his inner characteristics. Myolie has shown great improvement in her performance at the JSG Show. She expressed that on-stage experience has to be accumulated. She had been attending functions, hence with the experience, she has gained much confidence. She laughed that with Feel, she can sing well, but it is a pity that she only had 2 minutes to perform. She hopes that at the launch of her new album, she can sing all she wants.


Myolie has been accumulating her performance experience, thus her performance has improved greatly.
